The Sift cape (Aurora Cape)
There is no cape officially called the “Sift cape”. The one people mean is the Aurora Cape, designed from a Sift-like cape concept left over from Dungeons II. It is free: watch a rewards-enabled Minecraft Dungeons II stream for 15 minutes on Twitch or 3 minutes on TikTok by October 14, 11:59 PM PT, then redeem the code by October 31. It works in Java and Bedrock, not in Dungeons II.

At least 15 minutes on Twitch or 3 minutes on TikTok, between September 29 and October 14, 11:59 PM PT. Only live time counts; replays do not. - 3
Collect the code
A 5x5 code lands in your Twitch Inventory or TikTok notifications once the minutes are in. - 4
Redeem it at minecraft.net
Enter it at minecraft.net/redeem with your Microsoft account before October 31. The cape then belongs to that account in Java and Bedrock.

Every Dungeons II cape
Dungeons II came with a run of capes. Two of them, the Hero Cape and the Twisted Cape, also cross over to vanilla Minecraft, and the Aurora Cape exists only there.

The Aurora Cape is the one piece of the Sift you can wear in vanilla before the dimension itself arrives, which is next year, per Mojang. For the real thing now, enter the Sift in Dungeons II.
